Hey friend! I’m LaShonta, a therapist, a mom of four (ages 21 to 4, yes, you read that right), and a big believer that growth happens when we slow down and get honest with ourselves. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, postpartum transitions, and the beautiful chaos of blended family life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and sprinkled with humor when we need it, because sometimes laughter is part of healing too. Therapy with me isn’t about striving for perfection. It’s about creating a safe space where you can breathe, unpack what’s heavy, and just be human, messy, hopeful, and healing. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on your heart and looping through your mind so you can find steadier ground again. When I’m not in the therapy chair, you can usually find me chasing after my kids, enjoying a good cup of coffee, sneaking a bite of cake, or searching for the best tacos in town.
